This marks St. Patrick’s 9th year of participation in the GGCFD, an annual food drive collecting canned food for pantries serving the poorest neighborhoods in the D.C. Metro area.

This is the largest one day of service at the parish in which the whole parish community participates, young and old, singles and families, often with wagons and pets in tow.  Since the inception of this effort at St. Patrick's, we've collected about 100,000 cans!

What is needed?  Non-perishable canned or boxed food items (No glass items please!)

• canned tuna/chicken
• canned soups
• canned fruits/vegetables/tomatoes
• peanut butter & jelly (plastic container)
• cereals/oatmeal
• dried/canned beans
• boxed pasta, tomato sauce
• juices
